All of our rental sets have 12 wire winding generators which can be configured for:
173 - 250V or 346 - 500V 60 Hz 3 ph output
173 - 220V or 346 - 440V 50 Hz 3 ph output
100 - 144V or 200 - 288V 60 Hz single phase output
100 - 120V or 200 - 240V 50 Hz single phase output
Series-star, parallel-star, series-delta, parallel-delta, double-delta and zig-zag connections are all possible.
The input voltage to the motor can be 380 - 480V 3 ph at 50 or 60 Hz with a user programmable output frequency of 47 - 63 Hz.
We can cater for other voltage requirements, such as 690 V, by providing suitable transformers.
Short term hire or long term lease.
Please Note: We do not hire diesel generator sets
Applications include:
Power Supply Frequency and Voltage Conversion
Run or test American 60 Hz equipment from a UK 50 Hz supply or vice-versa
Shoreline supply to ships in a port at appropriate frequency and voltage
Equipment Testing

Hire Information
All load ratings are specified for a power factor of 0,8. The voltage and frequency settings chosen may result in less power being available. Please check your requirements with us prior to hiring as we will be able to help select the correct machine for your application. Please note that DOL and star-delta motor starting will always require an oversize generator. Specified input currents are maximum, continuous at 400 V nominal and will depend on input voltage and the load connected to the generator. All non-containerised sets are fitted with lifting eyes and can also be lifted from the base with a forklift of suitable size and capacity. Containerised sets will be delivered on a truck with a loading crane and placed on a suitable surface for the client. Any specialist lifting requirements, such as delivery over a wall or building will be subject to survey and extra charges.
